Types of Red Soap Colour

1. Water-Soluble Red Dyes

How to Use Red Soap Colour in Soap Making

Cold Process Soap

  1. Take the required quantity of red color powder.
  2. Mix it with a small amount of water, glycerin, or light oil to form a smooth paste.
  3. Add the mixture to the soap batter at light trace.
  4. Blend thoroughly for uniform color distribution.
  5. Pour into molds and allow curing.

Dosage:

  • 0.1% to 1% of total soap weight.

Example:

  • For 1 kg soap batch: 1–10 g red soap colour.

Melt and Pour Soap

  1. Melt the soap base.
  2. Add red soap colour gradually.
  3. Stir until the color is evenly distributed.
  4. Pour into molds.

Dosage:

  • 1–5 g per kg of soap base.

Laundry Soap / Detergent Cake

  1. Prepare a slurry of red color powder in water.
  2. Add during the soap mixing stage.
  3. Mix thoroughly until a uniform red shade is obtained.
  4. Press into bars or cakes.

Dosage:

  • 0.2%–0.5% of batch weight.
