Yellow Soap Colour is a colorant (pigment or dye) used to give soap a yellow appearance. It is commonly used in laundry soaps, detergent cakes, toilet soaps, and transparent soaps.
How to Use Yellow Soap Colour in Soap Making
For Cold Process Soap
- Mix the yellow color powder with a small amount of distilled water, glycerin, or light oil.
- Add the dispersion to the soap batter after reaching light trace.
- Blend thoroughly for uniform color.
- Pour into molds.
Typical dosage:
- 0.1% to 1% of soap weight.
- Example: For 1 kg soap batch, use 1–10 grams color depending on desired shade.
For Melt and Pour Soap
- Melt the soap base.
- Add yellow color little by little.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Pour into molds.
Typical dosage:
- 1–5 grams per kg of soap base.
For Detergent Cake / Laundry Soap
- Mix yellow soap color powder with a small quantity of water.
- Add during the mixing stage with soap noodles or detergent ingredients.
- Blend until color becomes uniform.
- Press into bars.
Typical dosage:
- 0.2%–0.5% of total batch weight.
