Orange Soap colour

Orange Soap Colour is a colorant used to give soap an orange appearance ranging from light peach-orange to deep bright orange. It is widely used in bathing soaps, herbal soaps, transparent soaps, glycerin soaps, detergent cakes, and laundry soaps.

How Orange Soap Colour is Used in Soap Making

1. Cold Process Soap

Procedure:

1. Take the required amount of orange color powder.
2. Mix it with a small amount of distilled water, glycerin, or light oil.
3. Add the mixture to the soap batter at light trace.
4. Blend thoroughly until the color is evenly distributed.
5. Pour into molds and allow the soap to cure.

Recommended dosage:

• 0.1% to 1% of total soap weight.

Example:

• For 1 kg soap batch, use approximately 1–10 g of orange soap colour.

2. Melt and Pour Soap

Procedure:

1. Melt the soap base.
2. Add orange soap colour gradually.
3. Stir well until the color becomes uniform.
4. Pour into molds and allow to cool.

Recommended dosage:

• 1–5 g per kg of soap base.

3. Laundry Soap / Detergent Cake

Procedure:

1. Prepare a slurry of orange color powder with a small amount of water.
2. Add it during the soap mixing stage.
3. Mix thoroughly until a uniform orange shade is obtained.
4. Form and press into bars or cakes.

Recommended dosage:

• 0.2%–0.5% of total batch weight.
